Y5&6 Swimming (Autumn 2016)
Bassenthwaite, Rydal and Elterwater classes have been taking regular swimming lessons throughout the Autumn term. Each class has a 30 minute weekly session to improve their skills and stamina. This term we have seen great progress in the children’s confidence. Many individuals have completed a whole stage of progress and some have made great steps within a stage.
This is a really beneficial part of our PE curriculum and we are so pleased pupils of North Lakes are offered annual swimming lessons within the school curriculum. Next term, children in Year 3 and 4 will begin their lessons. Look out in January for details of the forthcoming swim galas.
