Sumdog Success (Mar 2022)
North Lakes Mathematicians have once again topped the Cumbria Sumdog Maths Contest with their impressive fluency skills! Rydal Maths gained 1st place with 292 points. Coniston took 3rd place with 217 points, Bassenthwaite Maths group were 4th in Cumbria with 158 points, Yet again, every class in North Lakes were in the top 10 in Cumbria - a fantastic achievement. Daily winners of the contest included Windermere Maths, Bassenthwaite Maths, Coniston Maths and Rydal Maths.
The congratulations don’t stop there, as for the first time ever, North Lakes had ALL of the top 50 students in Cumbria! In the Cumbria top 10 were; Kristian F (955), Havanna-Grace (891), Alissia O (829), Nahal (824) Jaxxon (646), Katy F (629), and Jake C (589). We also had 38 children in the Cumbria top 10! Each competitor could answer a maximum of 1000 questions each. Well done to you all! We are so proud of everyone who has taken part in this competition.
