Paying attention to warning signs at a level crossing can save your life. We're hoping our TV ad will make more people aware that they must treat their approach to rail footpath crossings as they would to a busy road, even in quiet rural areas.

While fatalities at level crossings are low, there have been more pedestrians than motorists killed at crossings in recent years - we know it’s easy to get distracted, or simply not realise the risk at a level crossing in a sleepy rural setting, but just as motorways cut through the countryside, so does the railway.
