Year 3/4 were offered the opportunity to take their mathematical skills they have been learning about this term in school into the real world with a visit to Penrith Museum.
We worked with the staff on various mathematical challenges using the museum’s interesting artefacts. We were all in our pyjamas as it was on Children in Need day! We used timelines, weights, dates and lengths. It was great fun and showed us that we use maths everywhere!
