On Tuesday 12th November, a keen and eager team of Year 5 and 6 girls were invited to Carlisle to represent Eden (along with Beaconside) in the Cumbria U11 Football Final. This was a newly formed team, with some girls making their first appearance on the football pitch. The girls came up against some of the best footballers of their age and it was tough competition. However, they showed determination and spirit and they put in a fantastic performance. This was a great opportunity for the girls and I hope that they will continue to develop and enjoy their football experiences!
