Buttermere class is a mixture of Year 3 and 4 children.  We are taught by Mrs Clark and Mrs Cookson, as well as Miss Johnston and Mrs Greenwood for Numeracy.  Several teaching assistants help us with our learning too. We are looking forward to continuing our exciting learning over the year.

We have decided on a class acrostic to sum us up and to help us with our learning.  These are our own ideas and we voted to create our poem together.

We love reading and we have many great books in our book boxes.  We know that reading helps our writing, so Mrs Clark and Mrs Cookson would like us to read every school night at home.  In addition to reading our own books, we have planned some excellent group readers this year, The Iron Man is our first.
