A Grand Day Out in Keswick! (July 2016)
A few friends in North Lakes School supported Kevin on his outdoor day. (Unfortunately Leah was poorly).
We began by visiting Lake Derwent water and enjoyed some science/environmental games to familiarise ourselves with the lovely outdoor landscape. We had fun on the edge of the lake, we looked for objects we considered beautiful or unusual.
A picnic lunch on rugs by the lake was enjoyed by all. We actually sat and had a really good chat! Kevin and Leah had baked cakes which they shared with us all.
During the afternoon we visited ‘The Puzzling Place’ which was crammed with puzzles, gadgets and curiosities to amuse, entertain and puzzle us. It was great!!
On the way home we stopped at the Co-op for a delicious choc ice! Yum.
