This has been a busy term in the school kitchen. With around 70% of children taking up a school dinner, we are regularly serving around 150 meals a day.
Popular choices this term have included toad in the hole, pizza, sausage roll, and our famous Friday roast dinner that sets us up for the weekend. Orian seek to provide a nutritious choice and balance of meals- so don’t forget that there is a vegetarian option every day. If children wish to try a different dish, please just ask at the hatch for a spoonful as a taster – we want to encourage children to eat as wide a range of foods as possible.
Our new summer term menu will feature a new Chicken and Vegetable pasta dish, as well as some Spicy Beanburgers, as well as all the old favourites and of course our Friday roast dinners.
Thank you for your support for our school meals service and for ordering on line. To help us to provide the best possible service, please can we make two requests:
If you don’t already take up a school meal, why not give us a try? Thank you for your support.
