Footballers from North Lakes showed great skills, teamwork and resilience at the Sands Centre 5 a side tournament on 21st January. Drawn in a tough group with some strong teams, North Lakes won 4:1 against St. Patrick’s Workington, and 3:2 against Victoria Juniors from Workington. Despite losing out 4:1 to Norman Street, North Lakes played brilliantly and only missed out narrowly, 3:2, against Newlaithes, who went on to become tournament finalists.
