North Lakes School would like to say a huge thank you for the generous support received this year. We have been provided with donations of laptops and iPads from our supporters in the community which have helped children, during periods of lockdown and self-isolation, to access online learning. Margaret Soulsby has worked tirelessly to provide face masks for staff and their families, charging a small fee which has gone towards the cost of purchasing additional digital resources to support the children’s home learning.
A big thank you to Cranstons Penrith, Bells of Lazonby and Morrisons for their very generous contributions of food and a gift voucher, to help us with food and refreshments for the Year 6 Leavers’ Celebration.
Heidi Marshall, of Dodd and Co Chartered Accountants kindly examined the School Fund accounts – this was very much appreciated.
And finally, we would like to extend a very grateful thank you to an anonymous benefactor who donated £1,000 to the school. The school purchased iPads for home learning with the donation and, as with all of the kind help and support received, has made a huge difference to the children’s school experience.
Thank you all so very much!
