At the end of the Spring term, we will be saying goodbye to Miss McGuinness who has worked with us since September 2020 as an Apprentice Teaching Assistant. A former pupil of North Lakes and UCC, Miss McGuinness has been a really valued member of the team as she has completed her training in the role.
Miss McGuinness has worked hard throughout her time at North Lakes, which has not been easy as school life has been so disrupted by the pandemic. She has built strong, supportive relationships with the children, always showing care and commitment to their needs. We wish her every success and happiness in her new post at James Rennie School in Carlisle.
It is great to see Mrs Jenkinson back playing a full part in school, teaching Year 4 in Coniston class after her serious illness. The children of Coniston class have been so well looked after in her absence by Mrs Wild, and as Mrs Jenkinson returns we would like to say a huge thank you to Mrs Wild for all her hard work, kindness, dedication and care for the children over the past seven months.
