Rugby Festival Fun!
Congratulations to our four teams who performed magnificently at the Eden Tag Rugby Festival on Thursday 26thApril.
Two teams from Year 5 and 6 showed great collaboration and resilience, while improving their skills throughout the event. Our A team won 4 out of 5 matches, drawing one, and scoring 50 tries. Our B team showed great determination winning two games, and supporting each other really well.
Years 3 and 4 contributed two mixed teams who showed great passing skills and speedy defending, winning nine of their twelve games overall.
This was a great effort from all involved and the children were again excellent sporting ambassadors for our school. Many thanks to Nigel Beaty and Keith Robinson for their coaching input, as well and to Martin Duke and the many parents who came to support us on the day.
