Our Supportive Community
Thank you to the various organisations, parents, carers and friends who have supported our ‘families’ throughout the year- and prior to Covid-19!
Parents have generously donated food, clothing and other support. Bread donations were delivered to the Salvation Army by a baker Dad.
All families are individual and so many have been challenged in different ways. Eden Young Carers, Cumbria Family Support and Barnardo’s have provided support in many different ways: 1:1 support for children, family support and financial support. One organisation helped procure iPads for home learning. The churches have provided guidance and resources for transition.
The Salvation Army as part of the ‘Churches Together’ continue to support with food parcels, cleaning products and essentials.
Eden Young Carers and Barnardo’s have been able to access school to support families over the last few weeks. They will continue to support families over the holidays and beyond.
