NLS - Penrith Primary Champions
Congratulations to “North Lakes School FC”, the school’s A team which won Penrith Primary Football Tournament on Friday 7th October. Five victories over Yanwath, Calthwaite, Lazonby, Plumpton and Stainton without conceding a goal meant that North Lakes were triumphant in the Penrith Football event once again. We now travel to the “Champions League” event at Kirkby Stephen next year.
Some great effort and teamwork from our B team “North Lakes School Utd” saw them perform with growing confidence throughout the event. Narrow defeats to Stainton, Skelton and Plumpton were balanced by a good win against Patterdale. This was great experience for our B team who were all taking part in their first Penrith tournament.
