M&M Productions - Cinderella! (Dec 2011)
At North Lakes School we had a fantastic day, when we went to see the brilliant M & M production of Cinderella. We have seen quite a few pantomimes from M&M in the past, including Peter Pan and Aladdin! M&M Productions are quite good friends of ours now and they enjoy visiting us and performing as much as we enjoy having them!
The play had all the usual characters - Cinderella, Prince Charming, the Ugly Sisters. Buster, the Fairy Godmother, Frederick the Butler and the Evil Stepmother! They sang some great songs - Moves like Jagger, Swagger Jagger, Baby Get Back, Who’s Laughing Now and What Makes You. When the music came on, the audience stood up and danced to the music - even the teachers, including Miss Rollings!
The actors were perfect for the parts they played! The pantomime Cinderella had a really interesting dress code, like silky ball gowns, wacky, neon dresses and long horrific dark gowns worn with puffy shorts, long jackets with tails and shiny, stripy tops!
We would like to say THANK YOU to UCC for lending us Cumberland Hall, M&M for performing for us and the teachers for organising the action-packed performance! We hope we see more amazing pantomimes - hint, hint!
