Kilimanjaro Challenge to raise money for Eden Valley Hospice!
Miss Hayes is part of a team raising money for the Eden Valley Hospice. She will depart for Nairobi on 31st March, 2013, to undertake the two-week challenge, which will involve her climbing to the 5,895m peak of Africa’s largest mountain.
“This is going to be one of the biggest challenges of my life. Ever since I visited Tanzania and our link school in Uru in 2010 I have wanted to climb the mighty mountain, which hovers above the area we with which we are so closely linked (see our Tanzania page here). In addition, this is an opportunity to raise money for a fantastic and worthy cause and one which is very close to my heart ”.
The trip is totally self funded and therefore every penny donated will go directly to the Hospice. Eden Valley Hospice is dedicated to caring and supporting local people with life limiting illnesses and conditions. Eden House is Cumbria's only children's hospice, caring for children and young people with life limiting conditions.
Miss Hayes would be so grateful for any amount of sponsorship which can be donated through the group Just Giving site here.
