Congratulations go to all our gymnasts, who trained hard from Christmas in preparations for the Key Steps Competition which was held at QEGS in March. All the gymnasts represented NLS superbly and all their hard work paid off, with both the Key Steps 2 and Key Steps 3 winning their area of the competition. This put them through to the Eden area final which was held at Appleby Sports Hall on the 18th March.
Once again both teams ‘gave it all they had’ with the Key Steps 3 team gaining runners up position and the Key Steps 2 team winning their competition, putting them through to the county final which will be held on Saturday 12th June at Penrith Leisure Centre. Both teams looked very professional in their new purple and black leotards, which were kindly sponsored by Atkinson’s Building Suppliers.
