Calling all parents, carers and the School Community - Just to say as summer approaches – we are here for you!    We have great support at school from many organisations - these include  Cumbria Family Support, Eden Young Carers, The Salvation Army,  Barnardo’s, the Health and Well Being Team and Penrith Building Society to name a few.  These organisations have been amazing with regard to providing clothing, food, financial assistance, resources, well-being and emotional support - A massive thank you to all of them!

Families come in all shapes and sizes and all are equally important to our school community. Some times events can happen which can be disruptive to the family budget and the general well being of family members. We all know that times may get  increasingly more difficult as the winter comes as families face ‘tough’ times. Don’t hesitate to call should you need anything. If we can’t help, we will know someone who can. 

We have second hand uniform available from school and we are always happy to hand it on.  Our Year 6 parents are  usually very generous with regard to donating any good uniform, we often have an abundance.

Some families will be eligible for food vouchers during the summer and the supermarkets are being supportive of families with regard to ‘meals’ and reduced costs to children.
