Governor News

We would like to thank our long serving clerk, Margaret Cheverst, who has stepped down this term after almost forty years of service- an amazing feat! Margaret worked very hard over many years to support the Board of Governors of Wetheriggs School, which then became North Lakes School. Over her time she supported many Headteachers and worked with lots of Governors to offer her advice and support. We wish her every happiness in her retirement- thank you Margaret!

In the autumn term the Governors are pleased to have been joined by parent governors Michelle Woof and Jean Atkinson. Since Christmas, Dr Martin Duke has also joined the governing body. Dr Duke is a retired industrial chemist with a wide range of experience in management and industry and he brings a lot of skills and experience to our team. We look forward to working together over the coming months to support the children of North Lakes School.
