This has been such a busy and successful term, and it is a shame that we have to end it by saying good bye to three valued members of staff. Mrs Rainsley has been a dedicated teacher at North Lakes, previously Wetheriggs School, for some 31 years. Her commitment, her love of learning, her generosity of spirit, her teamwork and her care for the children over that time has been second to none. We very much hope that Mrs Rainsley will be a regular visitor to our school, and we wish her a long and very happy retirement. Enjoy it, Sue - you deserve it!
We are also sad to be saying goodbye to Mrs Taylor. Mrs Taylor has been a fantastic asset to the school team over the past nine years as a teaching assistant, often working with some of our most vulnerable children. She has shown a really individual approach to caring for each child, with so much patience and a great sense of humour. Good luck in your new role Mrs Taylor, please keep in touch!
When we return in September Mrs Dickson will also no longer be in her current post. Mrs Dickson has been a very committed member of the school team over the past few years and her calm, caring approach has helped so many children. We hope to be seeing more of Mrs Dickson next year, but we send our very best wishes for the future.
