COVID-19 Update (18.3.20 20.30)
Tonight the Prime Minister announced full school closure from the end of the school day this Friday 20th March until further notice. North Lakes School will close at 3:30pm. Please can parents/carers of children already booked in for the After School Club on Friday evening contact the school office to confirm your needs?
As outlined in the Prime Minister’s announcement this afternoon, it is intended there will be some exceptions to the school closures for the children of key workers and children who are vulnerable. We expect more details to follow with regard to this in the next two days.
The Local Authority is seeking to collate information to identify these key workers. Please see a letter emailed from Cumbria County Council, which provides a link to a survey (below). https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/BMQHDGY Parents can sign up to this survey to register for priority childcare and to give the details of their children.
