Eyes down… dabbers to the ready!   A great night was had by all at the Friends Bingo on 15  December.  Such generosity was shown by our community.

Wonderful raffle prizes were donated from within our local area.  Contributions included: £80 Voucher - for 2 people, half day activity (North Star Adventure UK), Tropics Products (Donna Mills), £50 Gift Voucher (Finesse Jewellery); Pink Gin & Glass Gift Set (Lorraine Hodgson), Morrisons Hamper (Morrisons), Bottle of Prosecco (Booths), 10 bottles of alcohol (Donations), Joint Membership to Dalemain for 2023 (Friends of Dalemain), Cumberland Sausage Voucher (Cranstons), Family Movie Voucher (Rheged), Windermere Lake Cruises Voucher (Windermere Lake Cruises), Voucher for £20 (The Narrowbar Café). In addition, our wonderful parents and carers donated chocolate, hamper prizes and other raffle items.

The Bingo itself was awesome!  Everyone had their eyes peeled for a line or a house and our bingo enthusiasts won prizes galore.   A big thankyou to our parents, carers and staff who helped make this event such a success - especially our dedicated chocolate wrappers!

We raised nearly £1000 at this event - The raffle is a major fund raiser for us and will help us to purchase new reading phonics resources.  North Lakes School is very appreciative to all who took part and purchased raffle tickets – thank you!
