Charity Fundraising for Great North Air Ambulance and Eden Valley Hospice
These are not easy times financially for families, and so we are hugely grateful to you all for your support of our charity fundraising this year. In the Autumn term we supported “Pride of Cumbria”, the Great North Air Ambulance, and together we raised an excellent total of £308. We were delighted that Abbie and Lauren could present the cheque to the Air Ambulance, especially as Abbie’s family have so much reason to be grateful for the magnificent medical work of the crew!
This term we focused on Eden Valley Hospice, and their wonderful work supporting families living with terminal illnesses. At a spectacular Bad Hair Day on Friday 10th February, we collected a total of £308. Thank you all once again for your generous support. Next term we aim to keep our fundraising local once again by supporting East Cumbria Family Support, another worthy charity doing great work in Penrith.
