Arts Mark Gold
Artsmark Gold was awarded to North Lakes School on the 11th June 2010. This prestigious award recognised North Lakes commitment to the Arts: music, drama, dance and art.
The Arts are embedded in North Lakes, this year several artists have worked alongside staff and children, extending teaching and learning with their expertise, and everyone has felt inspired by learning an abundance of new skills!! Deekabout has been a great success.
Music has continued to thrive with the choir working on a transition project. After-school clubs have included poetry, drama and dance. We have particularly enjoyed working with pupils from QEGS and UCC who have supported our learning, especially after school.
