This has been another very positive term at North Lakes School. The trip to London, the performance of our sports teams, a well supported Singathon and Red Nose Day have been a few of the highlights.
Thank you for your support through social media, for example during the London trip when it was so good to follow the experiences of the children on Facebook and Twitter and to hear your comments. I am very conscious of the goodwill of so many parents, carers and families, as well as the enormous amount of hard work that staff have put in this term and the many long hours they have worked for the sake of the children.
At the same time due to the nature of school life there will always be challenges to face and situations that do not turn out as well as we would hope. On those occasions, when things do not go so well, we would continue to ask for your support and respect. We value constructive feedback from parents and if you ever have any concerns, we would welcome you to come into school and talk to us so we can agree a way forward that helps the children. If communication breaks down it is the children who will suffer and so we always welcome your ideas, comments and feelings – do please talk to us!
We aim to make every child’s time in school a safe, happy, engaging and successful experience, and with your support we can achieve a great deal for the children.
Have a very Happy Easter!
