A word from Mr Pincombe
We wish you all a very happy summer holiday, and I would like to thank all parents and governors for your support after a unique and memorable term. The staff have worked hard all year to provide a great range of opportunities for the children and to support them in making strong progress in their learning, and we all appreciate their efforts. I would also like to mention the Year 6 cohort who are leaving us for an exciting new school in September- they have had an excellent year and have been great role models to our other pupils – well done Year 6!
I must also say a special thank you and farewell to Mrs Claire Slee and Mrs Andrea Dennison. Mrs Slee has supported us in Year 5 and 6 for a number of years on a part time basis and I am sorry that due to other commitments she is no longer able to continue. Thank you Mrs Slee for your great ideas, dedication, teamwork and high standards!
Mrs Dennison has worked on a temporary basis this year and she now has the offer of a post at another school – we will be very sorry to lose her. Thank you Mrs Dennison for your creative ideas and support for the children who have made great progress in your care!
