School term and holiday dates | Westmorland and Furness Council
It is proven by research that children with strong attendance achieve better progress at school. If a child is absent, we ask the parents to telephone school by 09:30am that day.
A list of school holiday dates can be found in the appendix. In order to support the children's learning, holidays will NOT be authorised in term time, unless in truly exceptional circumstances.
