Y6 Bikeability (Summer 2011)
The cycling proficiency was fun. It took place over 4 days in June. We learned how to be safe on the road and how to signal and check before we set off, so we knew it was safe. We learned the difference between a major road and a minor road, and we practised turning from a major road to a minor road and a minor road to a major road. We were taught that on a minor road the double dotted lines mean give way and the single line indicates the right of way.
