Catherine Wheeler and Karen McDougall have led an art transition project, on the theme of Keys, with Year 2 and 3 at Brunswick school and here at North Lakes. An assembly on Transition Day, July 8th, concluded the project and the children showed an audience of parents, staff and governors what they had been doing over the previous three weeks.
All those who had been involved felt that it had been an enormous success, with the result that on Transition Day the current Year 2’s were very confident in their new surroundings, with help from our Year 3’s. Penrith Building Society funded the project, which we really appreciate, and we all owe them a big Thank You.
