WW1 Tullie House Tommy Visit (Nov 2014)
Year 6 had a visit from ‘Tommy’ who was an actor from Tullie House who dressed up as a WW1 soldier. Tommy talked to us with his tales from the war and what life was like 100 years ago. He shared artefacts and answered our questions about life on the railway, in the trenches and arriving back home after a long spell away in France serving the country.
