World Book Day (March 2015)
World Book Day got off to a great start thanks to the Pop Up Bookshop which opened in the art area and the opportunity to dress up as your favourite literary character.
This was provided by Andrea and Jon from Wordsworth Bookshop and Coffee House, who brought along a great selection of books at rock bottom prices. Parents came in throughout the day to read in class, look around the book fair and to join their children for lunch in the dining hall.
Children were able to walk away with a book free of charge by using their £1 book token to buy a special edition World Book Day book at just that price. Jon and Andrea presented some excellent books as prizes to the winner from each year group in the Extreme Reading Challenge.
