Wetlands Visit (Sept 2012)

Mini beast Wetlands Trip

We have visited a Wetlands habitat at Aglionby, near Carlisle. We had lots of fun outdoors (despite the rain) and discovered mini beasts that live in a pond environment, like sticklebacks and water boatmen. We did some pond dipping, made dragonfly magnets, made our own nature trail art and completed some brass rubbings. We are studying Mini beasts as part of our Science work.

Take a look at our photos for more information!
