Hello and welcome to Ullswater's Class Page. We are a class of Year 3 & 4 pupils who enjoy learning and make the most of the fantastic opportunities on offer at North Lakes School. Mrs Greenwood is our teacher who makes our learning fun and enjoyable. Mrs Iwona and Mrs Varty are also around Ullswater Classroom helping us learn and achieve our best and we have our own sports coach Miss Potter who along with Mrs Sewell works with us on a Monday afternoon. 

During the Summer Term we will be Eco Warriors! Learning about our local environment and how we can suggest improvements in our school grounds. We will also be out and about, around out town and studying nature. The Year 4 children will be off on their overnight residential to Glaramara Centre in Borrowdale and the Year 3 children have an adventure day planned at Hawes End near Keswick, what fun we have planned for you all this Summer Term. It is action packed with Sports competitions, music lessons, The Big Sing and curriculum days. We will also be blogging, so keep your eye on our blog it page! 

Once again we will be working as a team to develop the 5Rs in all our learning - Relationships, Resilience, Resourcefulness, Reflection and Risk Taking. All of which are important ingredients to success with our learning at North Lakes School. 

Our class councillors, Tia, Beth, Max and Harvey are always at hand to listen and promote ideas we have for our school. We all have the opportunity to use the Suggestion Box in our classroom, we place our thoughts and ideas here ready for discussion at the regular meetings. 

KIDS WHO READ SUCCEED! Is a phrase you will hear often In Ullswater. Each term there is a reading challenge which we all participate in. This term is The Eco warrior Challenge, you need to read your way through the food chain!. 

Our page is constantly updated with the latest photographs and small video clips showing what we have all been up to in our learning. Watch this space as we have a residential movie coming up and a Hawse End special - all courtesy of Mr Soulsby!
