North Lakes have stormed to Sumdog Success once again! 28 of our mathematicians have again finished in the top 50 in the Cumbria Summer Contest.

Bassenthwaite Maths Group were the outright winners in Cumbria with 359 points; Rydal Water Maths Group were 3rd (287pts), Elterwater Maths group took 7th  (189pts), Windermere Maths Group 10th  (128pts) and Buttermere Maths Group 11th (107pts) with Ullswater Maths Group 12th (86pts) in Cumbria! It is a wonderful achievement to have so many of our classes in the Cumbrian Top 12!

Daily winners in the contest included Bassenthwaite, Elterwater and Rydal. The congratulations don’t stop there, as North Lakes also had 5 of the top 10 students in Cumbria! Each competitor could answer a maximum of 1000 questions each. Charlotte S (Y5) was 1st in Cumbria, with a tremendous 913 correct, Logan H (Y5) 2nd with 908 correct, Raisa-Bianca (Y5) 6th (880), Sophie B 8th (835) and Ryan F-K 9th with 834 questions correct. A fantastic effort by Y5!
