Summer Reading Challenge - Record Breakers (Summer 2015)

The Penrith Library Summer Reading Challenge is back with an exciting new theme for 2015.  ‘Record Breakers’ will bring together the worlds of fact and fiction, challenging young readers to explore some of the astonishing real-life achievements and world records featured in the Guinness World Records Books as part of the Summer Reading Challenge 2015.

Collecting stickers as you go, young readers will discover weird, wonderful and wacky records from around the world in six different categories: Cool Tech, Way to Go! The Big Stuff, Animal Magic, People Power and Action! Adventure!

North Lakes School pupils will have all had the opportunity to visit the library before the end of term. Everyone should

have a library card and a card that gives permission to access the computers in the library. Remember the library is open every day and from 12 noon on a Sunday!

The library can’t wait to be record breakers with the numbers of Summer Reading Challenge participants. So come on down to Penrith library and join the challenge!
