North Lakes have rocketed to Sumdog Success once again! 30 of our mathematicians have finished in the top 50 in the Cumbria Summer Contest. Rydal Y6 Maths Group were the outright winners in Cumbria with 451 points; Elterwater Maths Group were 3rd (332pts), Bassenthwaite Maths group took 5th (305pts), Buttermere Maths Group 9th (146pts) in Cumbria! It is a wonderful achievement to have so many of our classes in the Cumbrian Top 10!

Each competitor could answer a maximum of 1000 questions each. Ethan (Y5) was 4th in Cumbria, with an amazing 929 correct, William (Y3) 5th with 926 correct, Sophie (Y6) 6th (904), Jack D 7th  (886) and Katie G 10th  with 875 questions correct. A fantastic effort by everyone and our Y3’s too!
