Building Learning Power continues to develop at North Lakes School. During the summer term teachers have met to study the art of orchestrating the use of these muscles effectively into everyday learning. Alongside our key animal figures representing each of the 5Rs, we have introduced icons to represent the different learning muscles in each of the 5 areas. All children are familiar with the icons although it will take time to establish all 17 muscles, what they mean and how we use them into our everyday learning. You will see icons appearing around school in classrooms and on displays - they are a visual reminder of the learning that took place during an activity.
