Penrith Park Run (Spring 2015)
Each Saturday morning volunteers organise a Parkrun at Frenchfield in Penrith. Our school cross country team members were encouraged to go along to the event to help with their training, and many children are now regular competitors with parents and even some staff.
After 10 runs you collect a free T-shirt. It really is a great way to keep fit! Results of the 5km run are published on the Parkrun website with runners getting an age rated percentage as well as being told hen they achieve a personal best!
