Outstanding Soccer Success (Oct 13)
In early October North Lakes took teams to the Penrith Cluster Primary Football tournament. Our “A” team performed brilliantly, 
beating Stainton 7-0 and Beaconside by nine goals to nil. In the gold medal match North Lakes beat Clifton 3-0. They now progress to the “Champions League” tournament in January.
We were just as proud of our “B” team who showed real determination and resilience, playing all their games against the first teams of four other schools. They won a famous victory, 3:1 against St Catherine’s, and then fought really hard with strong team work, so that they only lost their other matches by a single goal on each occasion, against Lazonby, Clifton and Beaconside.
Congratulations to all who took part for representing the school so well. The footballers were: James, Ben V, Nathan, Toby, Cameron, Daniel, Taylor E, Harrison, Trey, Declan, Taylor D, Matty, Lainey, Bradley S, Shay and Robi.
