Odd Soks Book Launch (June 13)

Six members from Years 3 and 4 were invited to a book launch at The Wordsworth book shop in town. We participated in a story workshop and then had a chance to meet the author Steve Critchley and the illustrator Rob Jones as well as appear on TV!

Our friends at the shop, Andrea and John, looked after us so well, serving creature cakes and drinks . There was also a chance to get creative and draw some of the characters and design our own Odd Soks biscuits. Thanks to Mrs Greenwood who took us along on her day off, we think her son Robbie enjoyed the experience too!

The books are delightful stories set in the Lake District and have wonderful characters in who all wear odd socks! Our favourites were Little Lowb and The Paddlers . Check out the link on the school website which shows the ITV coverage of us !
