Grasmere News (Spring 2011)
Grasmere class are working to improve the small garden in the centre of the school. A big thank you to Mrs Phillips and Mr Watson for their help in clearing the large bushes from the raised beds, which has helped to make the area more accessible.
The children will be planting new flowers and vegetables next term and learning about how plants grow and how we can care for them. We have brightened the area by decorating the windows which look onto the patio and adding large, colourful sponge flowers to the trellis. Mr Pincombe has promised us a new garden bench, so we hope to enjoy sitting in the garden in the sunshine, enjoying the fruits of our labour!
