Early in June, two groups of Year 4 children spent two days and one night each at Fellside Outdoor Centre. The weather was fine and the children and staff had a wonderful time testing themselves with a range of activities, trying and discovering new skills, developing their teamwork, and having a lot of fun.
Ghyll scrambling, Kayaking, Rock Climbing and Archery were enjoyed at beautiful settings like Bassenthwaite Lake, Hay Ghyll and Sandgate crag. The children behaved brilliantly and got on really well together. Many children showed real leadership skills, and great support for one another, making it a memorable and hugely worthwhile visit.
