EVSP Tag Rugby Tournament (May 2019)
Well done to our 32 Tag Rugby stars who represented North Lakes School brilliantly in four teams at the Eden Valley Tag Rugby Festival on May 2nd. We had great fun and we learned a lot, improving throughout the tournament. The children were a real credit to the school and our girls and boys showed high levels of skill, collaboration and resilience to win ten of our fourteen games overall.
Under RFU guidelines this is no longer a competitive tournament, but a festival to encourage participation. North Lakes School teams showed great teamwork, sportsmanship and determination and played to the very best of their abilities on a really enjoyable day. We will be back next year and we hope that our outstanding players – boys and girls – in Year 6 will all continue to play rugby next year. Thanks to Eden Valley Sports Partnership, to staff, parent helpers and supporters for a great day!
