Christmas Fayre 25th November 2010

Fantastic news - we raised just over £850 this year. It was a busy night. We had lots of stalls: food, games, a tombola, raffle, quiz, toys, books, face painting, hairdressing, and cakes.

Hot dogs and refreshments were sold to hungry and thirsty guests. Our grown ups could buy a raffle ticket which gave them a glass of wine. We had fantastic raffle prizes donated by many businesses in and around Penrith. Parents were also very generous. First prize was £100. Adam B’s Mum sold 150 books of raffle tickets. What a super star!

Santa was on great form this year. He was able to spare a few hours at this very busy time of year. Santa listened to the Christmas wishes of the children and his elf Mrs Raine was a fabulous assistant. Mrs Watson was busy organising our fair for the whole week. She cooked, painted trees and organised the fair. Huge thanks to Mrs Watson as the Fair would not happen without her.

Thank you to everyone who donated goods, baked, helped set up the fair on the day, manned a stall, sold raffle tickets and attended the fair!!
