Christmas Fair (Dec 2016)

Children, parents, other relatives, governors, community members and past pupils poured through the door on Thursday 1st December to attend our annual Christmas Fair. A brilliant night was had by all!

The school was heaving as Christmas celebrations began. Bustling stalls, games, cake stalls, books, toys, cakes, Tombola, hair styling, and face painting were visited by everyone! Santa also paid a visit with his eager elf helper. The queue stretched all around the hall!

The raffle was a great success with fantastic prizes donated by parents and local companies as well as hampers gathered by each class. A fantastic cash prize kept everyone on their toes as winners were announced.

A massive thank you to the children for their donation of toys, books and superb cake making - it was so difficult to choose winners. All could have made the ‘Bake-Off’. We have a school of talent!

Thank you to parents for all that you do to support us: Cake making, donating and offering your time. Thanks also go to all those companies who donated to us and a massive thanks to our volunteer helpers that day led by Mrs Watson who worked tirelessly in sorting and setting up stalls, so that by 6pm we were ready to go.

That effort was all worth it, as we raised over £1000, which will be used to support the learning of the children in North Lakes School.
