Children in Need (Nov 2016)
Friday 18th November was Children in Need Day, when North Lakes always like to participate and help raise money for children throughout the country. Thank you to Greggs the Bakers which this year provided a focus for our efforts.
Children were able to design a ‘Pudsey’ biscuit for a £1.00 entry fee. All who entered won a ‘Greggs’ biscuit, and one from each class won a giant biscuit iced in their particular design. The children also had the opportunity to buy ‘Pudsey Bear’ biscuits prior to the day to raise funds for this fantastic cause.
North Lakes School have been great beneficiaries of ‘Children in Need’ in the past. The charity made a contribution to our Sensory room. Several of our children make great use of this room and it has a really positive impact on their day.
